Obesity course description: In this 3 hour educational workshop, learners will be exposed to multiple aspects of diagnosing, treating, caring for, and preventing obesity among primary care patients. Skin cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in the United States and primary care providers are often the first to screen and detect these. Through a combination of case studies and photos, attendees will be able to identify the numerous skin cancers (actinic keratosis, squamous cell, basal cell, dysplastic nevi, and malignant melanoma) as well as determine the appropriate treatment plans.
