A recent study published in the JAANP reveals many NPs know little about the value they bring to a practice. Business education is simply not taught in school. We learn it through the school of hard knocks and if we are lucky, from great mentors. This session will focus on documenting for APRN services, coding correctly and avoiding costly billing errors. A nurse practitioner who understands their value and can leverage this knowledge enhances the probability of a practice.
