This talk will discuss the latest therapies and FDA approvals for melanoma. There will also be brief discussion on management of side effects from these therapies.

Lisa Kottschade

APRN, MSN, CNP, FAPO

Ms. Lisa A. Kottschade is an Associate Professor of Oncology and a Nurse Practitioner in the Melanoma and Cutaneous Oncology and Immunotherapy Toxicity Clinics at Mayo Clinic with 20 years of experience as a NP. She is the current President for the Advanced Practitioner Society of Hematology and Oncology. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Winona State University in 1996 and her Master’s of Science in Nursing from St. Louis University in 2005. Her clinical and research interests include those in the field of melanoma including its treatment and management of side effects from therapy with a special focus on those related to Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors.
