This presentation will describe the process for arriving at a diagnosis (using laboratory values and clinical presentation) of thyroid disorder. Medication management strategy will be discussed including initial prescribing and follow-up titration.

Deborah Adell, PhD, ARNP
Dr. Adell has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 28 years, with a majority of experience in rural and underserved populations. She has been developing pharmacology courses and teaching for 25 years and is a published author on pharmacology topics. Dr. Adell is active in developing and teaching in the first advanced practice program in Saudi Arabia.
