Identification and Management of Atrial Fibrillation: Turn the Beat Around

Atrial fibrillation (AF) remains the most common arrhythmia in the general population and is associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Nurse Practitioners in all areas of practice will encounter these patients with various stages of AF and must be able to identify, classify and treat this common arrhythmia. Over the years the guidelines have changed, thus NPs must be aware of current treatment. This session will focus on the identification, treatment and prevention along with updated guidelines
