Lindy Adams

Lindy grew up in Washington State, with a care-free spirit and a passion to make the world a better place. However, her life took a drastic turn a little over a decade ago when her physical health deteriorated significantly. She transitioned from being in peak physical condition to struggling to climb a flight of stairs without immense effort and tears. It was under the guidance of a naturopath that she discovered her health crisis was rooted in overwhelming stress and a lack of support. This revelation led her to question how she had made it through so much of her life without necessary coping mechanisms for stress and daily life challenges. Lindy realized she wasn't alone in her struggle, and many adults also suffer from the adverse effects of a stressful life. Her journey to understand her own nervous system and manage stress became a matter of life and death. Lindy has come a long way since those challenging days, but the experience continues to shape her physically and emotionally.

What struck Lindy most during her challenging period was the realization that her health crisis might have been prevented with education on trauma, stress, the nervous system, and coping skills. This awakening inspired her to delve into the realms of yoga, trauma, and mental health, unveiling the intricate connection between the body and mind and the vital role of coping skills in leading a healthy life. Lindy envisions a world where younger generations are equipped with these essential skills to navigate life's complexities with resilience. Her journey led to the creation of successful mindful programs for schools, collaboration with Arizona's first responders, artists, and the neurodiverse community. Lindy's dedication to healing through mindful practices has not only bolstered her own resilience but also empowered countless others on their mental and physical journeys. She is eager to provide support to anyone, regardless of where they stand on their path to well-being.
