He was born and raised in Houston, Texas and is a graduate of Yale University. He received his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio, where he met his future wife, Patricia J. Sulak, MD. After medical school, Dr. Waxman completed a residency in Urology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. After practicing general urology for over 25 years, he completed fellowship training in Pediatric Urology at the Texas Children’s Hospital and now is devoted to the urologic surgical needs of infants and children.

While Dr. Waxman continues to enjoy his urologic practice, his passion is the pursuit of becoming the best version he is capable of being. He encouraged his wife Dr. Sulak to join him on this journey, and they created Living WELL Aware, a comprehensive, scientifically based wellness educational program. With their decades of expertise as physicians, educators, researchers, and national speakers, Drs. Waxman and Sulak are ideally positioned to deliver the best in wellness information, inspiration, and implementation strategies.

While Jeff continues his Pediatric Urology practice, he assists Dr. Sulak in delivering keynote addresses and conducting wellness conferences around the country. They are lifelong learners, eagerly sharing the latest scientific insights along with their personal experiences about practices that foster longevity, prosperity, productivity, and creativity. Their ultimate aspiration: to dwell in a state of profound gratitude, inner peace, and enduring joy.

And in his spare time, Dr. Waxman pursues his passion for playing and enjoying music, ballroom dancing with Dr. Sulak, cruising the rivers of the world, improving his fishing skills, and chasing after his two energetic granddaughters!
