I have been a critical care nurse practitioner for fifteen years at Umass Memorial Medical Center and a clinical instructor at the University of Massachusetts Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing in Worcester, Massachusetts. My clinical and academic interests have focused on the care of the critically ill, particularly those that survive critical illness. I have given lectures and poster presentations at local, regional, and national conferences on this topic. I am currently engaged in writing manuscripts, conducting research, and implementing quality improvement projects focused on the care of the ICU survivor.
